About Ms. Rogers

Hello! My name is Elizabeth Rogers, and I joined the Frenship Family in 2018 as the school counselor at Aspire Learning Academy. I am honored to support and guide our students as they work toward academic success, post-secondary and career readiness, and personal and social growth. My goal is to empower every student to recognize their strengths and maximize their opportunities for success.

I have been serving students in education for nineteen years. Prior to becoming a school counselor, I spent ten years teaching secondary science. I earned my Bachelor's degree from Texas Tech University in 2007, a Master's degree in Education Counseling from Sul Ross State University in 2013, and a Master's degree in Educational Leadership from Texas Tech University in 2021.

Working with Aspire Learning Academy students and their families is one of the most rewarding parts of my career. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my Boston Terrier, Izzie, reading, listening to music, following Texas Tech athletics, and staying engaged with a variety of sporting events.

I look forward to another wonderful year of partnering with students, families, and staff to help every student thrive.

"Every student can learn, just not on the same day or in the same way." – George Evans
